Current RHA Kelowna student-athlete Jillian McLaughlin has won gold with Team USA at the 2026 IIHF U18 Women’s World Championships.
Team USA and McLaughlin beat Team Canada and her RHA Kelowna teammates Alida Korte, Hayley McDonald and Kennedy Sisson, and former OHA Edmonton netminder Rowan Houweling 2-0 in the gold medal game.
McLaughlin finished the tournament with three goals and one assist in six games. Korte and McDonald, who were part of the Team Canada squad that won gold in 2025, each finished with nine points. Sisson had one assist in one game while Houweling recorded shutouts in both of her games at the tournament.
